Import from Thailand: FOB Laem Chabang or FOB Bangkok — the seller loads onto the vessel at the Thai port, sea freight is the buyer's cost; CIF — the seller covers freight and insurance to the Russian port. Export to Thailand: FCA Vladivostok or FOB Novorossiysk.

Thai legal entities are registered with the Department of Business Development (DBD) under the Ministry of Commerce. The main identifier is the 13-digit Tax Identification Number (TIN), which combines the functions of a tax and registration number. You can verify a company on the efiling.dbd.go.th portal. Company type: Co., Ltd. (บริษัท จำกัด). SWIFT codes of Thai banks: Bangkok Bank — BKKBTHBK, Kasikornbank — KASITHBK.
Thailand is not a party to the CISG, so the Convention does not apply automatically to Russian-Thai contracts. It is recommended to explicitly specify the governing law in the contract — typically the law of the Russian Federation with arbitration at the ICAC under the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, or neutral arbitration (SIAC, Singapore).
The main route is ocean container freight from the ports of Laem Chabang or Bangkok. Transit time to Vladivostok is 18–25 days; to Novorossiysk via the Strait of Malacca and the Suez Canal — 35–45 days. Direct regular sailings are limited; most cargo moves through hubs in Singapore, Hong Kong, or China. Air freight from Bangkok to Moscow takes 8–10 flight hours for urgent shipments.
