Settlements under limited SWIFT access

Since 2021, Myanmar's access to SWIFT has been partially restricted. Settlements are conducted via China, Singapore, or Thailand. Agree on the settlement route with your bank in advance.

CISG and governing law

Myanmar has not acceded to the CISG. Its legal system is based on English law (a colonial legacy). SIAC (Singapore) or the ICAC at the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is recommended.
