In international trade, a contract is not a formality — it's the basis for everything that follows: the bank payment, the customs declaration, the tax record. Using an outdated or poorly drafted sample can lead to the bank refusing a payment, cargo held up at customs, or tax claims.
When checking a contract, the authorized bank looks first at the mandatory details required by 173-FZ and Bank of Russia Instruction No. 181-I: the subject of the deal, amount, currency, deadlines, payment schedule, and both parties' details. Customs checks that the HS code matches the actual product and the price — duties are calculated from it. A sample from our generator contains all these elements in structured form.
The standard in international trade is a bilingual document with parallel columns: English on the left, Russian on the right. Both texts carry equal legal weight, no notarized translation is required. The generator produces a sample compliant with the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) — ratified by more than 90 countries, including China, Germany, the United States, and Turkey.
On import, the Russian party is the buyer: it pays a foreign supplier for goods or services. The sample includes the cargo receipt terms, the supplier's SWIFT details, and Incoterms such as FOB or CIF. On export, the Russian company is the seller: it receives currency from a foreign buyer. The sample adapts to the buyer's details, FCA or DAP delivery terms, and advance-refund requirements.
After payment, the DOCX file without a watermark opens in any text editor. Check every section, add any industry-specific terms if needed, expand the specification. Print two copies. Remote signing — exchanging scans with wet signatures and mailing the originals afterward — is standard practice. For deals above the 173-FZ thresholds, submit the contract to the authorized bank for registration and to obtain the unique registration number.
