Indonesia is the largest economy in Southeast Asia and one of the world's leading suppliers of palm oil and rubber. Russia exports grain, metals, and fertilizers to Indonesia.

The contract should specify the NPWP (tax identification number), NIB (business identification number in the OSS system), full company name, and address. Verify via oss.go.id and pajak.go.id.

CISG does not apply

Indonesia has not ratified CISG. Choosing the applicable law is a mandatory element of the contract. SIAC (Singapore International Arbitration Centre) or ICC arbitration is recommended for dispute resolution.

Currency and settlements

USD is the standard for international transactions. SWIFT via Bank Mandiri, BNI, BRI. Payments in IDR to non-residents are restricted by Indonesian banking law.
