CISG applies through Russian law

Indonesia is not a party to the CISG, but the contract from the builder is governed by Russian law, with disputes referred to the ICAC at the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Russia is a party without an Article 95 reservation, so the Convention applies to the sale of goods as part of Russian law (Art. 1(1)(b)) unless the parties exclude it.

The deadlines for receiving proceeds are set in the contract — the bank takes them into account when registering it; the mandatory amount of foreign currency proceeds to be credited is set by Presidential Decrees No. 79 and No. 430. For amounts from 3 million RUB (import) or 10 million RUB (export), the bank assigns a unique contract registration number.
