Mozambique is a country with enormous natural resource potential: the largest natural gas reserves in Africa, coal, aluminum, and seafood. Russia is expanding its presence in the extractive sector.
In the contract, specify the NUIT (tax number), full company name, and address. Verification is done through Mozambique's registration authorities.
Mozambique has not acceded to the CISG. The legal system is based on Portuguese law. ICC arbitration or the ICAC at the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is recommended.
