Russia Trade Contract with Egypt: Key Features

Egypt is among Russia's top five trading partners in Africa and the Middle East. The leading item of Russian exports is wheat; Russia supplies about 40% of Egypt's grain imports.

Egyptian company details

The contract should state the Commercial Registration Number issued by GAFI, the full company name in Arabic and English, the address, and bank details. Verify via gafi.gov.eg.

Egypt has been a CISG member since 1988. The Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA) is a recognized forum for disputes between Russian and Egyptian companies.

Contract currency
