Algerian banks require a documentary letter of credit (L/C) for most import deals above USD 10,000. Specify in the contract the buyer's obligation to open the L/C.

Algeria is the largest country in Africa by area and a strategic trade partner for Russia. Russia's key export categories are metallurgical products, grain, and chemicals.
Specify in the contract the full company name, address, Commercial Register number (Numéro RC) issued by the CNRC, and the bank details. Verification: cnrc.org.dz.
Algerian law (Bank of Algeria Règlement 11-04) requires the use of a documentary letter of credit for most import transactions. Clearly specify in the contract the terms for opening and confirming the L/C.
Algeria has not ratified the CISG. Algerian civil law (Ordonnance 75-58) applies unless the parties choose otherwise. Recommended arbitration: ICAC at the Russian CCI or the ICC.
