CISG · 2022The Moroccan dirham (MAD) is a relatively stable currency. International contracts are often denominated in USD or EUR. Settlements in MAD with non-residents are restricted — use USD instead.

Morocco is the leading economy of North Africa and a gateway to the African continent. The country is the world's largest producer of phosphates and is actively developing green energy.
Include in the contract the RC (Registre du Commerce) and IF (Identifiant Fiscal) numbers, the full company name, and address. Verification can be done through OMPIC (ompic.ma).
