The Bahraini dinar is firmly pegged to USD (1 BHD ≈ 2.66 USD). There is no exchange rate risk. For simplicity, use USD.
BHD/USD · fixed rateYes. Bahrain is a party to the Vienna Convention (CISG), in force there since 1 October 2014, and Russia has been a party since 1991. The Convention therefore applies to a sale-of-goods contract automatically unless the parties exclude it in the "Governing Law" clause.
No CISG · specify lawA Russian exporter is required to repatriate proceeds. Specify clear payment deadlines in the contract. A unique registration number is assigned for amounts from 3 million RUB.

Bahrain is a financial and trade hub of the Persian Gulf. The country serves as a gateway for trade with the GCC region and is actively developing its non-oil sector.
The contract should specify the Commercial Registration (CR) number, the company's full name, address, and the Bahraini bank's details. Verification is available through sijilat.com.bh.
The Bahraini dinar (BHD) has a fixed exchange rate against USD (1 BHD = 2.659 USD). Bahraini banks work via SWIFT; the availability of correspondent settlements depends on the banks on both sides.
Bahrain has not ratified the CISG. Bahraini commercial law (Decree-Law 7/1987) applies — specify the governing law explicitly. For dispute resolution, BCDR (Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution) — a recognized regional arbitration center — is recommended.
